Uppertunity Art Trail

We were invited by ScrapAntics to facilitate the creation of a community art trail at Dudhope Castle, working alongside members of Uppertunity - a Dundee-based charity supporting adults with additional support needs through wellbeing and development activities.

Through a series of workshops, participants explored the history of the castle and created colourful, engaging artworks. The final trail features a collection of objects highlighting interesting historical details, alongside a pair of vibrant wings designed as an interactive photo feature.

The project was a collaborative effort, bringing together creativity, storytelling and community participation within a historic setting.

Thank you to the community and staff at Uppertunity, ScrapAntics for the invitation, Debz for facilitating the workshops, and local artist Lauren Herd, who supported participants in creating two beautiful peacock sculptures that now sit within the castle grounds.
