Grange Primary School - Angus
For this project, we transformed two playground areas using content created by pupils at the school.
We began with a workshop where pupils drew shapes they wanted included in the mural and posed for their silhouettes to be outlined. These elements were then combined with the school’s chosen words - ‘Creativity. Believe. Be kind. Be safe’ - to develop a vibrant and energetic design.
The final mural brings together pupil-created shapes, silhouettes and values into a cohesive piece that reflects the identity of the school and adds colour and character to the playground.
Thanks to ScrapAntics for inviting us to faciliate this project, to Craig (C.Gul) for his painting support, and to all the staff and children at Grange Primary School.
“We are delighted with the mural and the children are very excited and talking about how colourful it is.This has really made an impressive addition to our playground. The workshop was great and getting the children involved will give them ownership of the creation.”
