Lochee Street Art

Lochee Street Art Trail - Dundee

We were delighted to be selected to take part in the Lochee Street Art Trail, organised by OpenClose Dundee, alongside a range of talented local artists.

The brief was to create a painted board that ‘looked through a window’ in Lochee.

We chose to feature the area’s historic jute mill, drawn to its architecture and its prominence within the local landscape.

While we typically work with brighter, more vivid colours, for this piece we explored a more muted palette to create a vintage feel. Subtle gradient stripes in the background introduce a contemporary contrast, blending historical reference with a modern edge.

Thanks to Russell Pepper of OpenClose Dundee for involving us, and for his ongoing work bringing art and colour into the streets of Dundee.
